Because of its compactness and pleasant dimness, the ambience feels intimate. The massive wood, heavy square chairs, and ascetic equipment show that this is a higher class restaurant.
The kitchen is open, making cooking a show for the guests. It is interesting to watch Japanese chefs skilfully chopping, topping, and shaping sushi, sashimi, and other rolls of the Japanese gastronomic culture.
Sushi is the centre of the cuisine run by chef Hiroki Ishikawa, while other dishes are more like side dishes. Superb side dishes. The extensive menu provides the best from Japan – from soups to numerous gentle rice dishes and dishes with noodles, and of course, sushi of all types and shapes.
The range of the alcohol drinks is no less impressive. You can choose from a wide range of wine labels, almost 40 whiskies, and Japanese sakes.

From rice rolls to wagyu beef
Sushimama is known particularly for its sushi and sashimi rolls with tuna, scorpionfish, sweet shrimp, bonito, scallop, sea bass, salmon, octopus, eel, mackerel, and other types of fish and seafood.
You will get the best miso soup with tofu or crab, and excellent wagyu steak ‘kobe style’ served on a hot stone.
