In Šentjanž, where the Posavje and Dolenjska regions meet, lives and works the sixth generation of the Repovž family.

The family house in the middle of the village is also an organic farm, a homestead, a shop and an inn with overnight accommodation. Experience the genuine Slovenian countryside and enjoy contemporary Slovenian rural cuisine.

A lot of passion, persistence, work and constant changes were necessary for the Repovž family to become synonymous with exemplary organic farming, hospitality tradition in the true sense of the word and the new Slovenian rural cuisine. “For good souls and inquisitive stomachs,” they describe their mission.

Mother Meta, chef with a capital C, and her son Gregor who runs the inn and oversees the wine list, are a winning combination.

Home-made dishes are harmonious and inventively presented. Beef soup tastes as it should, but it’s even better because of the original details. Try cottage cheese štruklji or chicken paprikash. On a relatively short menu, there’s actually no dish that wouldn’t be delicious.

If you decide to go all the way at Repovž, they will serve you a ten-course menu, which testifies to the excellence of their skills and produce.

Home-grown ingredients

One knows what one eats at Repovž.

What they can’t produce at home, they get from their local suppliers. The guests know where the eggs were laid, where the meat is from, who matures the cheeses and where the house beer is being brewed.
