LJUBLJANA
Key information
Discover flavours that pamper your taste buds while gazing at Ljubljana Castle.
With her fresh perspective and passion for food, chef Kapetanović brought new life to the famous Ljubljana Dvorni Trg Square.
A wood-fired oven is indoors and a garden in the courtyard overlooks the crown jewel of the town, Ljubljana Castle. Young chef Petra Kapetanović, known among friends as Peti, opened the restaurant on 18 January 2018 and intertwined this date and her nickname in the name of the restaurant. Are we talking about 18 January or January 2018? You decide.
The once famous Ljubljanski Dvor Restaurant was thus taken over by a young member of the Kapetanović family which has been involved in hospitality for several decades. You may be served cheese lollipops upon your arrival, and you’ll also quickly notice the chef who is circling among the guests dressed in white.

A platform for creativity
As the chef evolves and the restaurant grows, the offer matures and improves.
The menu in the restaurant changes regularly. But the dishes best received by the guests remain. Some of these include ravioli 181, wood-fired oven lamb roast, duck pie and shrimp soup with a crunchy tempura shrimp tail. The restaurant also serves dishes that were inspired by family recipes.
