Committed to sustainability, Vila Planinka boasts first-class dishes made with delicious high-quality local ingredients. The menus are seasonal and tailored to their guests’ wishes and needs. Don’t look for pineapples, bananas or sodas from large global corporations here. Chef Blaž Derlink’s team believes that they can find everything they need right here at home.

They believe in tradition, and with more than 200 labels of exclusively Slovenian boutique wines, they prove to the world how proud we can be of our own local aromas and flavours.

Like a good mother who pampers her children with their favourite food and tries to fulfil even the smallest of wishes, the staff at the Vila Planinka restaurant pampers the hotel guests with personalised daily menus. Bread is an important food in Slovenian cuisine, which is why at Vila Planinka they prepare homemade fresh bread from organically grown grain on a daily basis.

The hotel’s restaurant also welcomes outside guests with prior reservation, who can choose between a 4-, 5- or 7-course menu.

The excellent sommelier, Marko Koren, will suggest and serve a wine pairing. You can also get any wine from their extensive collection by the glass, or treat yourself to a bottle of your favourite from any of Slovenia’s nine wine-growing regions.
